Teaching Experience
At the college level I have taught the General Biology II Lab at CU Boulder and the Zoology Lab at Cameron University. I have experience with youth educational programs. At the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge I taught courses focused on terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates, plants, local history, and ecology for local youth groups. I am currently in the Boulder County Volunteer Naturalist Program where I teach the public and school groups about the natural history of the local area. Check out some of the great programs!
Mentorship
I believe in the value of mentorship for professional and personal development. So far, I have worked with four undergraduate students who have helped me conduct and contributed to my research in Gregory Canyon. I am always interested in mentoring students on research projects. Feel free to contact me about research opportunities!
